Who is responsible for stewarding the living systems upon which they all depend?
A transparent, scientifically governed framework could measure whether living systems are becoming healthier, more resilient and more capable of supporting future generations.
The Global Repository may catalyse the framework. Long-term continuity would come from the beneficiaries whose security and wellbeing depend upon functioning ecosystems.
Every landscape restored should improve humanity’s capacity to restore the next.
Shared principles, transparent measurement standards and protected knowledge infrastructure.

The Global Repository Trustee is invited to initiate a foundational discussion concerning the purpose, design, governance and first practical expression of the Earth Stewardship Initiative.
No request for funding is made at this stage. The purpose is to place the concept on the table and determine whether it merits formal exploration.
